Frizzante ‘Silvola’ | Cantina Beato Bartolomeo
About The Producer
Each and every member who sends his grapes to the Cantina Beato Bartolomeo shares the same spirit and philosophy: to introduce the rest of Italy and the world to his land through its best expression: Breganze DOC wines. The area extends from the foot of the Asiago Plateau along a band of hills ranging from the Medieval town of Thiene to delightful Bassano del Grappa. Gentle hills striped with rows of vines, embellished in spring by the cherry trees in blossom and framed by a backdrop of rugged mountains. Here where Andrea Palladio built some of his most beautiful villas, the vine has been cultivated for more than one thousand years to produce wonderful, high quality wines.
About The Wine
Soft pressing to extract the top-grade must only, fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. In the spring following the grape harvest, the wine undergoes second fermentation in stainless steel tanks using the Charmat method. This is a blend of 45% Vespaiolo and 55% Prosecco (or Glera as it must now be called).
Tasting Note
Pale straw coloured, sparkling blend that balances delightful freshness and crispness with the gorgeous aromatic qualities of Vespaiolo. Absolute bargain at this price.
