About The Producer

Terre di Montelusa is made by Calatrasi, a wine company with vineyard holdings in Sicily and Puglia. The ethos of Calatrasi is simple; to make affordable wines for everyday drinking that over deliver on quality. With around 204 hectares of both Primitivo and Syrah around Salento, Calatrasi are well placed to produce excellent terroir influenced wines while maintaining their attractive price points.

About The Wine

Fully ripened Primitivo is picked and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steal before being released with minimum ageing in order to retain the freshness of fruit and delightful perfumed aromas.

Tasting Notes

This smooth, juicy Primitivo is full of Southern Puglian character. Fully ripened grapes have produced a wine with medium body, ripe, sun blushed fruit, a touch of spice and soft velvety texture. Terre di Montelusa is a real crowd pleaser and ideal as a pouring wine. The packaging is sleek and modern, and the bottle looks good on any table.
