About The Producer

Bruno Rocca has become one of the key players in Piemonte despite starting to bottle his wines as recently as 1978. He has 8 hectares of vineyard in Rabaja as well as smallholdings in Nieve and Treiso.

About The Wine

100% Barbera from vineyards in the Commune of Vaglio Serra. Soils here are sandy, with reddish marne and the vines are planted at a density of 4500 plants per hectare. The vineyard faces south/south-east and yields are approximately 40 hl/ha.

Tasting Note

Juicy black fruit, racy acidity and generous helpings of oak. Lovely flavours of berry, chocolate and vanilla.
