About The Producer

The history of Bertani is enextricably linked with the development of Amarone as we know it today. The house of Bertani has produced quality wines in the Valpolicella region since the late 1800s and was instrumental in the production of the earliest dry Amarone in 1958. Today they produce a number of classic examples of Valpolicella and Amarone s well as some exciting an innovative wines such as Due Uve and Bertarose.

About The Wine

A blend of Corvina, Mollinara and Rondinella, this wine sees no oak at all. Instead a traditional fermentation takes place in cement vats lined with glass tiles.

Tasting Notes

A gorgeous nose of cherry fruit and nuances of spice. On the palate the wine is light bodied, well balanced with juicy forest fruit flavours and a savoury finish.
