About The Producer

Terre Zhurian is a new brand of Aglianico del Vulture sourced from premium fruit grown around the extinct Volcano of Monte Vulture. Volcanic soils impart a complexity that has seen Aglianico del Vulture regularly referred to as the 'Barolo of the South'.

About The Wine

100% Aglianico del Vulture hand harvested in early October before undergoing temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steal.  The resulting wine spends 5 months in oak before a further 4 months of refinement in bottle.

Tasting Notes

Ruby red with slight garnet shades. It has an earthy bouquet with aromatic and complex notes of bitter cherry, leather and tobacco with hints of chocolate and coffee. On the palate the wine is dry as rich black fruit merges with velvety tannins and a long persistent finish.
